LAP is a grab-and-go coffee chain operation in micro size hubs - offering products at a price point customers can afford every day, multiple times a day. In short, we are on a mission to make the specialty coffee experience more accessible, digital, and convenient.

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and proactive Chief of Staff to work closely with our Co-Founder & CEO in Berlin. This role will be instrumental in enabling the CEO on strategic and operational priorities, including growth, strategic partnerships, and talent initiatives. If you thrive on high-impact roles where you can drive strategy, optimise processes, and support key partnerships, this position offers a unique opportunity to shape LAP’s future and work at the intersection of specialty coffee, retail, and technology.

As our first Chief of Staff, you will report directly to the CEO with a focus on:



CEO Enablement & Strategic Planning


  • Strategy Development: Support the CEO in refining and executing company strategy, focusing on key priorities and optimizing our strategic roadmap.

  • OKRs & Goal Alignment: Lead the design and tracking of company OKRs, ensuring alignment across teams and working with leadership to measure progress.

  • Investor Relations & Fundraising: Partner with the CEO on fundraising efforts, including creating pitch decks, financial models, and supporting investor communications.


Growth & Strategic Partnerships


  • Growth Initiatives: Collaborate with the CEO and functional leads to identify and execute growth initiatives that drive revenue and expand LAP’s reach.

  • Partnership Development: Build and manage strategic partnerships that enhance LAP’s brand visibility, customer experience, and market positioning. Work with internal teams to create collaborative initiatives with partners that align with our goals.


Talent & Organisational Development


  • Hiring & Team Building: Partner with the CEO to drive high-priority hiring, ensuring a streamlined recruiting process that brings in top talent aligned with LAP’s culture and values.

  • Process Improvement: Develop and optimise processes around hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews to build a strong and cohesive team.

  • Culture & People Strategy: Contribute to a culture that attracts and retains top talent, working closely with leadership to design programs that support team engagement and development.
