Bay Road Insurance Partners is seeking a Chief of Staff to partner directly with the CEO to reach our goal of growing to $20 million of revenue in five years. This individual will thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment and can execute on projects both independently and alongside teammates.

Core Responsibilities
1. Operational excellence
- Partner with sales & customer service leaders to identify areas for improvement, implement best practices and optimize processes to drive organic growth and margin improvement
- Manage key software and systems (alongside external partners) including CRM, AMS, phone systems and other tools
- Establish KPIs, dashboards and a consistent reporting cadence to provide regular updates & insights to the CEO and other key stakeholders
2. M&A transaction support
- Lead the execution of M&A transactions, working alongside internal teams and external advisors
- Evaluate potential acquisition targets, conduct due diligence and develop post-acquisition integration & growth plans
- Support investment committee process (e.g. documents, meetings, etc.)
- Coordinate with our private equity partners and legal, accounting & tax advisors throughout the transaction process
3. M&A integration execution
- Manage and execute on the post-acquisition integration “playbook” as part of our value creation plan
- Gain exposure to multiple functional areas including finance, HR, technology, sales and customer service
- Measure integration KPIs to ensure we realize the expected value and continually improve our integration capabilities
4. Strategic projects
- Lead high priority projects that drive organic revenue growth and/or margin expansion
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of work experience in consulting, private equity and/or a PE or VC-backed high growth company
- Prior financial, insurance & business services or M&A roll-up experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to execute on strategic plans
- Proven track record of optimizing processes, implementing best practices and building trust with cross-functional teams
- High level of organizational skills with the ability to ruthlessly prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Thrive in a fast-faced and evolving high growth environment
Location:
- The preference is for this role to be located on-site in Miami, FL (not in Washington, DC)
- Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time
