Spreetail is hiring a Chief Financial Officer, in this high-impact role, you will oversee Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and Legal. You will build, and scale teams with a focus on effective enterprise resource planning, forecasting, and analytical support for strategic and operational decisions.  Bottom-line, you’ll guide the financials, resources, and investments to grow our enterprise value. 

How you will achieve success:

  • Scale & guide with management mechanisms, and robust, reliable reporting.  We know the score, we know we’re tracking it correctly, and we can adjust to execute and deliver. 
  • Establish and maintain operational budgets and progress reporting, and ensure we hit projections & obsess over continuing to improve our performance. 
  • Bring ideas to drive $20M+ in FCF and lead or guide the execution. 
  • Constantly find opportunities and share them, ask great questions, help others be better.
  • Develop a world class Finance team.  Create a development culture that raises up future CFOs. 
  • Lead with a steady hand, provide insight and assurance to employees, ensuring we are making decisions that drive “sustainable” and “profitable growth” over both the short-term and long-term, with a strong eye for the long-term. 

What experiences will help you in this role:

  • Ecommerce experience, specifically merchandising & supply chain 
  • World Class Team Builder – you hire the best and you develop your teams 
  • High growth (25% YOY) organization experience 
  • Track record of tangible improvements, impacting the top and bottom-line with personal contributions 
  • Executive communication and influencing skills – experience presenting / supporting division leaders   
  • Ability to set a long-term plan and prioritize toward execution of that plan   
  • Experience leading a 30+ person team 
  • Process Improvement – you are maniacal about making things better and more scalable 
  • Innovation – you are constantly finding new and innovative ways of doing things
