As the CFO, you will play a crucial role providing strategic direction, and ensuring the integrity of our financial operations.
Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Developing financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
- Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Evaluating investment opportunities and risk management.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Preparing accurate financial statements and reports.
- Analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Treasury and Cash Management:
- Managing liquidity, cash flow, and working capital.
- Handling banking relationships and optimizing financing options.
- Monitoring investments and debt.
Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):
- Assessing potential acquisitions and conducting due diligence.
- Negotiating deal terms and integrating acquired companies.
- Evaluating synergies and financial impact.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Implementing internal controls and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensuring compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Safeguarding company assets.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Leading the global finance team and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Providing strategic guidance to executives and the board.
- Has proven experience operating as Chief Financial Officer in a professional, multinational corporate environment in the technology / digital industry.
- A financial leader with full suite of finance skills and experiences in a global (multi-country) context - ideally exposure in M&A, fund raising, investor relations.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles in US and EMEA (IFRS).
- Experienced in a growing, competitive market / business environment with high complexity where the CFO is a strong, proactive business partner, able to pivot quickly and embrace change.
- Skilled in providing hands-on, metrics-driven financial leadership to help accelerate growth and profitability and provide the executive team with operational insight to better manage the business.
- Experienced in ensuring scalable and efficient processes, procedures and systems that provide the business optionality while maintaining a sound controls environment.
- Ability to balance between the different stakeholders’ interest, convincing and assertive speaking partner.
- Confident, expressive and inclusive leader who can create an inspiring and engaging working environment, develop internal and external relationships at all levels of the organization.
Education
- A master’s degree is a must from a renowned institution, MBA and other postgraduate programs are valued
- Proficiency in English
