The Chief Financial Officer for Continental Automotive, North America is responsible for leading the financial initiatives and drive profitability within the Region. The CFO will be responsible for analyzing and strategizing on operational impacts for continued success within the Industry through the various areas:
Ensuring compliance with Continentals Financial Reporting and International Financial Reporting Standards across the Region.
Ensuring successful internal and external year end audits with external vendor PWC.
Managing external auditors; compliance-related issues and internal controls for the Region.
Proposing and implements necessary measures to ensure the annual Cross Functional Budgets are achieved.
Advises on both short-term and long-term growth opportunities, risk and urgent matters which could impact the financial success of the organization.
Develops processes and procedures to ensure time and accurate collection of approximately 4+ billion euro of revenue from customers
Develops processes and strategy for the timely and accurate distribution of approximately 2.5 billion euro in annual supplier/service provider payments
Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with Financial Institutions to ensure funding for operations.
Developing cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate funding of operations.
Oversight of the Pension Committee.
Accurate reporting and timely payment of Federal, State, Sales & Used Tax and resolution of Audit inquiries for North America.
Oversight of Risk Management, Loss Prevention and Corporate Real Estate Management for the Region.
Manages State, Local incentives and ensures timely reporting requirements.
Leading Internal Audit and Special Investigations.
Scouting Location Incentives.
Supporting M&A activity
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or relevant. Minimum 15 years progressive Finance, Accounting experience preferably in Automotive Industry. Minimum 5 years leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications: MBA and/or Certified Management Account (CMA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
