Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The CFO will oversee all tracking of cash flow and financial planning as well as analyze the company's financial strengths and weaknesses to propose corrective actions. They will direct the preparation of current financial reports and create forecasts predicting future growth. At Rankings.io, we are committed to providing end-to-end SEM services, including content creation, technical optimization, and keyword strategy for law firms looking for aggressive growth across multiple digital platforms. 

Responsibilities

  • Direct the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and governmental agency reports
  • Oversee strategic business initiatives, from development through successful execution, under the guidance of senior leadership and department heads
  • Compare sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; make or oversee any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets
  • Review planning process and suggest improvements to current methods
  • Analyze operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination
  • Work with the President and CEO to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process
  • Study long-range economic trends and projects their impact on future growth in sales
  • Identify opportunities for expansion into new product areas
  • Improve current processes and optimize organizational financial procedures for efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor the performance of investments including creating reports using business software
  • Analyze trends to reduce financial risks associated with making investment or spending decisions
  • Create usable budgets for the business, including evaluating the needs of each department in the long term

Requirements

  • Seven or more years of experience in a business management or executive role
  • Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
  • Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives
  • Versatile abilities and extreme dedication to efficient productivity
  • Excellent mathematical and analysis skills
  • Knowledge of analysis and financial software
  • Strong creative skills to develop new and innovative solutions
  • Ability to create and deliver unbiased budget expectations for different departments
