Chemical Process Engineer

Overview:

This food additives plant is located in the Delaware Water Gap area, and most of the people who work here live in Western NJ, Easton PA or Allentown PA. This person will be assigned to the fermentation area where 1/3rd of the job is day-to-day support, 1/3rd is processing optimization, performing engineering calculations, and analyzing data derived from PIE, and the remaining 1/3rd is running internal engineering reports. This is a large production site staffed with controls engineers who support DCS/PLC’s controls, process engineers, and reliability engineers who support the sites drying and fermentation units. Growth opportunities exist at this facility as well as at other facilities within the US and around the World. This position is bonus eligible and relocation assistance is available.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 2-6 years of hands-on experience working with operators, out of any manufacturing site including chemicals, pharmaceuticals or food.
• Must have experience performing engineering calculations and analyzing data in a plant, either directly or from college.
