About the Role (your why) 

As a Change Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting change initiatives by effectively communicating changes to employees, and stakeholders. You will support with the development and implementation of strategic communication plans to ensure clarity, transparency, and engagement throughout the change process. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of change management principles, and the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.  

What you’ll bring 

  • Proven experience in change management communications.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, concise messages.  
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.  
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including email marketing software and intranet systems.  
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.  
  • Knowledge of best practices in change management, employee engagement, and internal communications.  
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement 

Responsibilities 

  • Support with delivery of communication strategy.  
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and change management teams to understand change objectives and support a comprehensive communication strategy.  
  • Identify key stakeholders and audience segments and tailor communication approaches accordingly.  
  • Produce compelling and engaging content, including emails, newsletters, presentations, videos, and other materials, to communicate changes, milestones, and progress updates.  
  • Ensure all communication materials align with the organisation's brand voice, values, and messaging guidelines.  
  • Execute communication plans in alignment with project timelines and milestones.  
  • Coordinate the distribution of communication materials through various channels, including email, intranet, and in-person meetings.  
  • Collaborate with People and Culture and Engagement teams to develop learning materials and resources to support employees through change.  
  • Continuously monitor the effectiveness of communication efforts and gather feedback from stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.  
  • Analyse data and metrics to measure the impact of communication activities on employee engagement, understanding, and support for the change.
