Chief Financial Officer

We’re an established enterprise software company with global representation.

We are searching for an experienced “rapid growth” CFO to lead the operational aspects of our expansion. As the CFO, you have direct responsibility for accounting, finance, strategic planning, capital strategy, and negotiations with key suppliers.

You will be responsible for complex cash flow modeling, managing books and records and annual audits. You will bring best practices to accurately plan, forecast, and operate the business as well as advising on the business strategy by developing and tracking key metrics. You will monitor performance against our initiatives and will be the key financial voice on the executive team.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • SaaS licensing experience
  • Fundraising and board experience
  • Strong operating small business experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance, Accounting, and Billing functions for the organization across all entities
  • Own financial reporting, planning, financial analysis, risk management, and internal reporting to leadership, key internal stakeholders, as well as the board of directors.
  • Oversee and lead monthly budgeting and cash flow forecasting
  • Assume full responsibility for bank relationships and take lead on the company’s capital strategy.
  • Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits.
  • Oversee potential future fundraising diligence preparation and execution. Also create pitchbooks
  • Draw business insights from metrics and key performance indicators, and drive execution strategy with key stakeholders and company leadership.
  • Manage global recruiting campaigns and onboarding

What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years in financial leadership roles, preferably in a fast-paced growth environment at a prior VC funded software company. Expect to work weeknights and weekends from time to time - this is not a 9-5 job.
  • Experience raising equity or debt capital.
  • SaaS and recurring revenue experience..
  • Deep understanding of GAAP, familiarity with and exposure to international expansion and tax planning, including IT development tax credits.
  • Experience with cap tables and setting up equity option grants
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Managerial and executive presence to persuade others to achieve excellence and to foster an environment of openness and teamwork.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all areas and levels of the company.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.

  • Salary $160k plus annual discretionary bonus
