Your Role: Leading the Future of Maternal Care
As a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) at Galileo, you will be a key provider in our innovative care model, ensuring comprehensive, patient-centered perinatal care for diverse populations. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support pregnancies and improve maternal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide High-Quality Maternal Care – Deliver prenatal, postpartum, and reproductive healthcare in patient homes and virtual settings.

Manage Care with a Team-Based Approach – Act as a key provider on our clinical team, which provides exceptional care to patients, with significant care coordination support from an active, engaged team.

Perform Key Clinical Assessments & Procedures – Conduct non-stress tests (NSTs), limited OB ultrasounds, and phlebotomy.

Educate & Empower Patients – Guide patients and families in understanding their care, improving adherence, and navigating the healthcare system.

Enhance & Optimize the Care Model – Contribute to ongoing improvements in maternal care delivery, ensuring efficiency and excellence.
Who You Are: A Passionate, Skilled Midwife
You are a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) who is clinically strong, patient-focused, and eager to make a difference in maternal healthcare. You thrive in a collaborative, innovative environment and are comfortable providing care both digitally and in the home.
Your Qualifications:
- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) from an accredited program.
- Licensed in New Mexico (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- 3+ years of perinatal experience, including prenatal, postpartum, and labor & delivery.
- Experience managing pregnancies and working in interdisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in clinical assessments such as NSTs, Limited OB ultrasounds, and phlebotomy (or willingness to learn).
- Excellent communication and patient education skills, with a focus on culturally competent care.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating in a team-based care model.
- Reliable transportation for home visits and regional travel.
- For the safety of our patients and staff, employees in this role must be fully vaccinated with all necessary vaccinations. This includes a completed COVID-19 vaccination
Compensation & Benefits: Supporting You While You Support Others
- $80/hour (regular rate) | $90/hour (premium rate)

Work Environment & Travel Requirements
- 60-80% of time spent in the field providing in-home maternal care.
- Remaining time focused on virtual visits, care coordination, and team collaboration.
- Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods and lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
