We are seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide comprehensive healthcare services to women, including prenatal, childbirth, postpartum, and gynecological care. The midwife will work closely with obstetricians, nurses, and healthcare teams to ensure safe and compassionate care for expectant mothers and their babies. This role includes on-call responsibilities and overtime opportunities as needed.  Duties & Responsibilities: Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to expectant mothers.  Assist in labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and supportive birthing experience.  Conduct routine gynecological exams, family planning consultations, and reproductive health screenings.  Educate patients on prenatal care, childbirth preparation, breastfeeding, and newborn care.  Monitor fetal development and maternal health, identifying and managing complications as needed.  Collaborate with obstetricians and healthcare teams for high-risk pregnancies and emergency situations.  Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.  Participate in on-call rotations and be available for overtime when required.  Minimum Qualifications:  Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nurse-Midwifery.  Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification required.  Active RN and APRN licenses in the state of practice.  BLS and NRP certifications preferred.  Minimum 2+ years of experience in midwifery or labor & delivery preferred.  Strong ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.  Benefits:  Competitive salary with overtime and on-call compensation.  Health, dental, and vision insurance.  Malpractice coverage.  Paid time off (PTO) and CME allowance.  Career growth and development opportunities.  About Akicita Federal, LLC : Akicita Federal, LLC, a proud member of the Kul Wicasa Oyate (Lower Brule Sioux Tribe), combines time-honored Native American values with innovative solutions for federal contracting.
