Cert 3 Vet Nurse

Noosa District Animal Hospital is looking for a Full Time/Part time Vet Nurse to join our team.

We are seeking a full time/part time Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic clinic, providing outstanding customer service and patient care to our valued clients.

The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-level patient and client care and will possess a strong desire to offer exceptional customer service. You should be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating excellent communication skills, organisation, and consistency in administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Supporting veterinarians in all aspects of veterinary nursing, such as anaesthetic monitoring, animal handling, IV catheter placement, and blood collection.
• Ensuring excellent patient care and customer service at all times, treating every patient as if they were your own.
• Maintaining a high standard of organisation and cleanliness in the hospital and kennel areas.
• Assisting with reception and administrative tasks as needed.

Ideal Candidate Attributes:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) - Cert III nurses are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
• Strong desire to maintain high standards of patient care and customer service.
• Proficiency in general computer skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• A genuine love for animals and their owners.
