Central Operations Analyst

Central Operations Analysts are responsible for driving Resprop’s operations forward through our centralized focus areas. These include but are not limited to central leasing, application approval, renewals, and former resident collections. The analysts have a focus on one or more areas, and are in charge of leveling up those specific buckets or the organization through knowledge, leadership, training, and subject matter expertise. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy strategies to hit 21% bad debt recovery across portfolio
  • Identify areas of improvement and deploy solutions to create team efficiencies along with onsite efficiencies. 
  • Respond and resolve tickets within 24 hours
  • Adhere to defined departmental compliance SLAs including but not limited to MOR processing, FAS processing, communications, 3rd party claim filing. 
  • Monitor, analyze, and deploy strategies to increase move out checklist and chargeback adoption to increase income recovery opportunities
  • Respond to application approvals within 2 business hours of submission with resolution, daily
  • Build process to scale across portfolio, working towards a 1 hour approval window and a 80% rate of one touch tickets
  • Adhere to rental criteria standards, hold property teams accountable
  • Build screening vendors knowledge base for improved usage portfolio wide
  • Engage in department meetings and weekly 1 on 1s with manager and 1 on 1s with direct report(s)
  • Coach internal teammates, daily
  • Support onsite teammates with ideas and problem solving and maintain a high level of customer service
  • Formulate weekly team schedule adhering to dedicated property hours and internal team strategy
  • Improve all workflow processes weekly
    • Build on current processes
    • Intro tech solutions to increase efficiency
  • Adhere to all fair housing laws and company guidelines
  • Contact customers with overdue accounts and negotiate payment plans or settlements to resolve outstanding balances.
  • Create reports and analysis of collections data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Work with third-party collection agencies as needed.
  • Provide regular updates to management on the status of delinquent accounts, highlighting risks and opportunities.

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in property management /leasing experience.
  • Experience using property management software and google suite, such as Resman, Microsoft Office, AirTable, and Google Email.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience with collection software and databases is a plus.
  • Knowledge of federal and state collection laws and regulations is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
