Catenary Engineer (Rail)

Full-Time

Your key responsibilities

  • Work on projects of feasibility studies, investigations and detailed design
  • Perform analysis and design of catenary
  • Establish and deliver CAD drawings and 3D-models
  • Work closely with peers, line manager and other discipline engineers to ensure delivery that will meet utility standards, industry standards and meet good engineering practices, policies and procedures
  • Supports our clients with tender documents and tendering services for railway projects

We expect that you have

  • A qualified degree in civil engineering from a reputable college or achieved an equivalent level through previous tasks/employment
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience of Catenary design
  • Working knowledge of Bentley Open Rail, Bentley Microstation or Civil 3D
  • Working knowledge of 3D modelling
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English language (CEFR minimum level B1)
  • Excellent technical writing skills
  • A good knowledge of working in relevant applications of MS Office

 

We appreciate if you have

  • Knowledge of Bentley ProjectWise Explorer
  • Knowledge of railway contracts/production
  • Experience of working with projects in the Nordics, especially projects associated with the Swedish Transport Administration
  • Knowledge of Swedish regulations and catenary systems
