About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Emma and our Country Business Development teams.
You will be responsible for taking care of the growth (and development) of the e-commerce presence of Emma in a specific market. Managing a category in a Country Team is like managing your own business within the business! You will be managing the product portfolio, understanding the logistics of the products (with suppliers and warehouses), and defining prices and discount strategies. You will be THE growth driver behind Emma’s success. 🚀
What you´ll do:
- Define and execute the right growth strategy by crafting and correctly positioning the right product portfolio in the right channels at the right price to ensure the long-term success of Emma on a global or country level.
- Run frequent deep dives to reveal business opportunities and find interesting niches by anticipating trends that help you prioritize your key levers.
- Conduct research, analyses, and reports through which you will identify growth potentials, best practices, optimizations, and risks.
- Build a network with external and internal stakeholders to support the growth of the market.
- Work on the development and implementation of marketing automation measures.
- Look for opportunities for growth outside of the status quo - exploring new marketing and sales channels, new communication aspects as well as launching new products.
Who we´re looking for:
- You have a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a relevant subject such as Business, Economics, Entrepreneurship, etc.
- Ideally, you have experience in marketing, business development, and e-commerce (start-up exposure is a plus)
- You have demonstrated that you are a self-starter and resourceful in reaching ambitious targets
- You have the ability to influence internal stakeholders
- You are analytically strong and can draw meaningful insights when looking at data
- You are hypothesis-driven and able to articulate logical hypotheses in the absence of data
- You are a creative thinker, who can come up with simple, effective out-of-the-box ideas
- You are not afraid of moving fast, taking bold decisions, and setting the direction for a team
- You are fluent in English
- Fluency in Portuguese is a big plus
