Category Lead, Travel Insurance

What to expect from this role:

• Opportunity to work on Travel Insurance related initiatives with key stakeholders of the Insurance industry in the country.
• End to end responsibility of the business including but not limited to P&L ownership, operational excellence, regulatory compliance and marketing.
• Collaboration with internal teams- product, business finance, customer service, etc to monitor and manage the category daily
• Track sales funnels, converted sales and revenues and plug the holes if any
• Discuss innovative financial solutions with Travel insurers and bring them to life on PhonePe platform.
• Benchmark customer experience and processes with other internal categories as well as competition – hence acting as a catalyst for improving process design for better customer experience. 
• Work with data to help grow the business through interventions on product and technology.
• Responsible for management of business reporting and any ad hoc reporting from time to time. Proficient knowledge of MS Excel is a must
• Customer first attitude with a strong execution bias
• Experience of working with a highly skilled team across all functions
• To be a part of India's highly disruptive fintech wave

Ideal candidate for this role should:

• Preferably be an MBA with 2-4 years of experience
• Have work experience in business development and / or product development in a dynamic Travel insurance environment. 
• Exposure to digital marketing will be an added advantage.
• Be agile and highly collaborative, communicate impressively
• Strong analytical acumen and problem solving 
• Demonstrate deep understanding of insurance business
• Be highly data-driven and adept at balancing needs with business goals
• Be skilled in building and managing business alliances
• Thrive in a competitive and a result-oriented work environment
• Be able to create and own the processes on their own
