W Costa Navarino is looking for a Cashier. The selected candidate will ensure a seamless and efficient transaction experience for guests by delivering exceptional customer service, accurately processing payments, and upholding financial integrity.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process guest payments for room charges, dining, and other services
- Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments while ensuring compliance with financial protocols
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and perform regular cash audits
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns
- Issue receipts and manage refunds or exchanges as needed
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace for efficient operations
- Stay updated on hotel services, promotions, and local attractions to assist guests
- Assist in training new cashiers and supporting team members as needed
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures regarding financial transactions
- Support department’s and hotel’s operation according to the needs
Requirements
- Two years of experience in a finance-related environment
- Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Strong understanding of cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in processing payments and managing a cash drawer
- Ability to work effectively within a team and support colleagues in delivering outstanding guest experiences
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and address their needs effectively
- Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and hotel management software
- Commitment to ethical practices and confidentiality in handling financial transactions and guest information
- Strong attention to detail to accurately handle transactions and maintain meticulous records
- Capacity to address and resolve guest issues or billing discrepancies efficiently and courteously
