Cash Applications Specialist

Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process bank statements and cash receipts
  • Perform cash allocations and reconcile ledgers
  • Manage daily SAP, bank postings, and MCAS reconciliations
  • Handle refund payments and bank reconciliations
  • Investigate and resolve reconciling items
  • Reconcile credit card and petty cash accounts
  • Report on cash movements for cash-flow analysis
  • Resolve unidentified payments and allocate funds
  • Liaise with customers to resolve queries
  • Prepare credit balance reports (SSC Specific)

People Management Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teams and care for colleagues
  • Act as a role model and support team members (SSC Specific)

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Approachable under pressure
  • Knowledge of internal systems
  • Integrity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service and time management
  • Flexibility and strong oral/written communication skills

Good knowledge and understanding of Cash Applications processes within specific area of expertise:  

  • Queries & Allocations 
  • Cash Processing and Reconciliations 
  • Best practice in Cash Operations 
  • A thorough knowledge of SAP system preferable
