Requirements
Qualified applicants must hold credentials to be a caseworker in a Pennsylvania County. This would entail holding a bachelor's degree that includes or is supplemented by 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences OR possess two years as a county social services aide III with two years of college-level coursework that includes 12 credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences OR any equivalent combination of experience and education that includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences and one year as a county social services aide III or similar position performing paraprofessional case management functions. Benefits
This is a short-term assignment, not to exceed 5 months and 29 days. The hourly wage is $20.50. The part-time schedule required will be considered to be flexible, with a minimum of 6 hours per workweek up to 37.5 hours per workweek.
