Who We Want
An Associate Manager will co-pilot a larger, growing carrier group to help a Carrier Manager focus and scale the 4 main pillars of the Arrive Carrier Dept: Elite Customer Service, Consistent Zone Expertise, Rep Development, and Technology Powered. You will leverage your industry knowledge and high energy to develop lower tenured reps and focus on customer service as well as operations. You will be held accountable to rep development and service quotas. Additionally, your KPIs will focus on service scores, zone prebooks, and rep performance. 

What You'll Do

  • Focus on assisting the team with various items like issue resolution, operations, prospecting leads for the group, etc. 
  • Assist management with developing reps in building their relationships with existing and prospective carriers through excellent customer service, strengthening knowledge of the market, and assisting with pricing/negotiation as needed. 
  • Focus on developing sales reps, as mapped out by Carrier Sales Manager, and ensuring they are on track with performance and sales development. 
  • Proactively work towards increasing the business’ prebooking of Zone freight. 
  • Coaching and training sales representatives on what Zone C Freight is, how to service it, and find and develop consistent capacity around it. 
  • Coaching reps on Accelerate and Arrive best practices. 
  • Learn Carriers’ capacity to improve load matching and to build relationship with our carriers 
  • Focus on maximizing service through improving Late Bounce percentages, tracking the board, AutoTracking mastery, and Carrier Portal adoption. 
  • You will need to display growth and leadership through the Arrive Leadership Competencies which center around Business, Team, and Self. 

Qualifications

  • 6-12 months of carrier sales experience. 
  • Passion for quality customer service. 
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize time-sensitive issues. 
  • Proactive problem solver who brings creative solutions to the table. 
  • Detail-oriented and thorough when presenting information. 
  • Organized when it comes to time management and deadline. \
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
