The Care Network Development Manager reports to and works with the Director of Provider Partnerships within our Chief Health Officer organization, to implement a cohesive business development strategy to develop and implement our external clinical relationships.
You will support growth by strengthening provider partnerships and network development through strategic evaluation, business development, and partner engagement. Responsibilities include expanding the provider network, collaborating with leadership to create scalable partnership strategies and frameworks. You will be working with care, clinical, and product teams to enhance partner use and guide patient care innovations. Additionally, you will manage partner needs, oversee contractual and operational support, and advocate for provider communities within Included Health to foster growth-oriented relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Work to outreach, vet and contract with any and all provider partnership types to support the strategic plans of the organizations and our overall clinical partnerships strategy.
- Meet care network development goals as set forth by leadership.
- Manage and renew upon contracted partner agreements to ensure compliance, and expectations and that relationships remain intact.
- Maintain network adequacy, quality and partner specific issue resolution.
- Develop a cost-effective provider network portfolio.
- Support expertise on partnership strategy to support Included Health’s expanding scope of services.
- Be an important contact for provider relations teams and our provider partners.
- Work with the analytics team using our internal tools to evaluate potential and existing network partners as well as overall strategy.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations or consulting business development experience
- BA or BS required, though MBA, MPH or other post-graduate degree valued
- Prior experience in provider network contracting or negotiation/sales in a healthcare setting (payer experience valued)
- Prior experience in customer/account management type roles ensuring customer satisfaction, adoption, and retention; specific experience in healthcare and provider relationship management
- Experience managing customer escalations, balancing customer expectations, and successful resolutions
- Motivated team member who identifies and addresses needs, collaborates to find solutions
- Prior experience working with diverse teams to influence organizational progress towards a goal
- Willingness to travel (estimated 25%)
Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
- Prompt and regular attendance at assigned work location.
- Capability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
- Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
- No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs of force (e.g., lifting a computer \/ laptop) may be required.
- Capability to work with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.

The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:
Zone A: $118,640.00 - $167,580.00 + equity + benefits
Zone B: $136,436.00 - $192,720.00+ equity + benefits
Zone C: $148,300.00 - $209,480.00 + equity + benefits
Zone D: $154,232.00 - $217,850.00 + equity + benefits
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for candidates based on their respective Zone. Below is additional information on Included Health's commitment to maintaining transparent and equitable compensation practices across our distinct geographic zones.
Starting base salary for the successful candidate will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include, but not limited to, education; training; skill set; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; business needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and alignment with geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone's unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and competitive compensation based on their roles and locations.
