We are looking for a Capture Artist to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions!  This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in creating visually compelling and inspiring content for a critically acclaimed racing game franchise. Collaborating with the UI Content Director and team, your work will help shape the visual identity of the game, highlighting its motorsport themes through high-quality still images and compositions. Your passion for cars, racing, and photography will contribute to crafting an authentic and engaging visual experience that resonates with players.

Responsibilities:

  • Capture high-quality in-game images using proprietary tools.
  • Develop compelling compositions that align with the game's visual brand identity.
  • Balance efficiency and quality to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Incorporate feedback and adapt to creative direction.

Qualifications:

  • Real-world experience in live event or studio photography.
  • Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and photo editing.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop.
  • Aesthetic sensibility with a keen eye for detail.
  • Self-motivated, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to proprietary software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in in-game or real-world car photography and motorsport events.
  • Skills as a 2D generalist, including adherence to strict art direction guidelines.
  • Expertise in post-production techniques such as color grading, typography, transitions, and compositing.
  • Familiarity with game engines like Unreal or Unity.
  • Experience using conventional cameras (DSLR, Mirrorless, RED, etc.).
  • Enthusiasm for automotive and racing games.
  • Awareness of marketing trends and best practices.

Portfolio Submissions: 

  • High-resolution photography stills or motion graphics examples.
  • Demonstrations of strong layout and graphic design skills.
  • A demo reel or portfolio with a breakdown of relevant work.

Salary Range

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $80,000 - $85,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
