Canvas LMS Support Operator

Woolf is the first global collegiate university that allows qualified organizations to join as member colleges and offer accredited degrees. These colleges can offer accredited courses and degrees.

Currently, we are seeking a Canvas LMS Operator to join our team. You will support colleges in their program management and study activities, ensuring they meet our accreditation and technical standards.

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Canvas LMS to ensure an optimal learning experience for our students. You will work closely with our colleges, accreditation team, and technical team to upload, organize, and troubleshoot course materials, monitor user activity, and provide technical support to both learners and colleges. This role requires excellent English proficiency, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work efficiently during EU/US (PST) business hours.

Responsibilities:

  • LMS Administration: Manage college accounts, course and degree enrollments, and permissions within the Canvas LMS.
  • Content Management: Upload, organize, and update course and degree materials, assignments, quizzes, and multimedia content on the platform.
  • Technical Support: Provide timely assistance and troubleshooting to users experiencing technical issues with the LMS.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of course content, including checking for broken links, formatting issues, and accessibility compliance.
  • User Training: Conduct training sessions and create documentation to help users navigate and utilize the features of the Canvas LMS effectively.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor user engagement and performance metrics within the LMS and generate reports to inform decision-making and improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our colleges, accreditation team, and technical team to address technical requirements and optimize the user experience.
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of updates, new features, and best practices related to Canvas LMS and other relevant technologies in the e-learning industry.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with strong communication skills.
  • Experience working with Canvas Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Familiarity with educational technology tools and online learning platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to work during EU/US (PST) business hours.
