We are actively looking for a Canteen Chef for our busy factory canteen of Kepak Ballybay.
Hours: Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm
Responsibilities
• Overall responsibility for kitchens daily operation.
• Ability to prepare and cook food in a busy environment.
• Prepare and cook food to the highest quality ensuring consistency in the final product.
• To work the daily operations of a kitchen handling and preparing raw and cooked foods in a canteen environment
• To maintain a clean kitchen environment at all times in accordance with HACCP legislation
• Ensures that high standards of Cleaning, Health and Safety are maintained throughout all kitchen areas at all times.
• Ordering of stock, merchandising and stock taking
• Ensure a professional and courteous service
• Lead the team to provide excellent food service.
• Establishes controls to reduce food and waste.
Requirements
Qualifications / Experience
• Experience of the day to day running of a kitchen and or food production
• A flair and passion for food is essential
• Cooking Skills
• HACCP
• Fluent English
• Must be available to work flexible hours from Monday to Saturday
