Position Overview:
BPM’s Talent Acquisition team is seeking a highly energized campus recruiter who is ready to represent one of California's Best Places to Work. Our ideal candidate will be motivated to help college students and recent graduates find their first career opportunity. This individual will care about filling positions as much as retaining those who come through our doors.
The Campus Recruiter will work directly with BPM Partners and Hiring Managers to fill all entry-level positions, including full-time Associates, Interns and Apprentices. This individual will own all hiring responsibilities for our Assurance and Advisory practices and play a key role in developing new strategies to attract a diverse slate of qualified candidates. We're looking for high-energy individuals who are looking to implement new and creative ways to recruit college talent.
The Talent Acquisition team works in a fast paced environment. We are proud of our firm, knowledgeable about our services and focused on creating best-in-class candidate experiences.
We are looking for someone based in the Los Angeles area who can attend local campus events and visit our Southern California offices when needed. This role will require overtime during peak recruiting seasons and will require travel and on-campus presence during peak recruitment season.
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1 years recruiting or related experience, preferably in public accounting or professional services; agency experience relevant as well.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Enthusiastic about public speaking; preparing and delivering presentations on campus and internally.
- Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple deadlines / projects, and excellent time management skills.
- Previous experience working in Campus Recruiting as coordinator or recruiter preferred.
- Familiar with Applicant Tracking Systems (Lever a huge plus)
- Experience building strong business relations with key stakeholders and decision makers.
- Knowledgeable in latest technology platforms / uses of technology a plus.
- Able to work in a competitive marketplace and fast paced work environment.
- Positive attitude and desire to help the collective team.
You Will:
- Represent BPM at on-campus recruiting events at local universities, positioning BPM as an employer of choice.
- Manage a high volume of candidates, particularly during peak recruiting seasons (Fall and Spring).
- Recruit for entry-level associate, intern, and summer leadership roles across Assurance, Tax, and Advisory services.
- Communicate regularly with Partners and Hiring Managers to provide updates on positions and candidates.
- Collaborate with campus faculty and student organizations to schedule and coordinate on-campus activities, including but not limited to Meet the Firms events, career fairs, banquets, presentations, mock interviews, and resume workshops.
- Coordinate on-campus events with BPM Campus Teams.
- Recruit for, plan, and host BPM LEAD (summer leadership program).
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with students, faculty, and accounting clubs/organizations.
- Network with other Campus Recruiters and stay informed on industry trends related to Talent Acquisition and Human Resources.
- Challenge current processes, contribute new ideas, and bring creativity to the team!
$68,000 - $75,000
The salary range provided is intended for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area who meet the minimum requirements of the position. Candidates who do not reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, do not meet the minimum requirements, or exceed the requirements are encouraged to apply and a recruiter will provide you with a range specific to your location and qualifications.
