What You’ll Do:
Archer is seeking a highly motivated and talented CAD Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship opportunity provides hands-on experience in the Product Lifecycle Engineering team and an opportunity to contribute to real-world projects. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced engineering team, gaining exposure to various aspects of the engineering process.
- Assist and support engineering teams to design architecture for product interfaces, and control & release structures
- Create detailed documentation for handoff to the team
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Assist with data analysis, algorithm development and visualization for process development
- Provide support & training to user community for NX, Simcenter3D, and Fibersim solutions
What You Need:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to engineering, mechanical design engineering or industrial engineering at an accredited university, preferably a Junior going in to your Senior year
- Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) and drafting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Self-managed and committed to working in a fast-paced environment
- Results focused
- Aligned with Archer’s core values
Bonus Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Google suite applications
- Experience with a programming language such as Python
