Scope of Responsibilities:
Design seat structures and components using CAD tools.
Create detailed component and assembly drawings in compliance with customer specifications.
Ensure a full understanding and application of legal requirements for seat components.
Package structures and components in 3D CAD environments.
Check and convert CAD data as needed to meet project requirements.
Utilize 3D-based CAD systems such as CATIA V5 or NX Siemens Unigraphics for design work.
Work within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems to manage the design process.
Perform Digital Mock-Up (DMU) analysis and feasibility studies to assess designs.
Design and layout specific components as per project demands.
Be responsible for vehicle environment data and incorporate it into design work.
Follow up on design tasks related to assigned projects, ensuring timely completion within planned hours.
Collaborate with team members, including offshore teams and customers.
Assist in the creation and refinement of component/system DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
Requirements and Skills:
Strong technical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in CAD design using Catia or NX systems.
Flexibility, adaptability, and self-discipline in managing tasks.
Experience in the automotive industry is highly preferred.
Ability to work in a professional services capacity, managing workload priorities efficiently.
Strong communication skills to interface with various teams and stakeholders.
