Duties and Role:
Under the direction of the Head of the Strategic and Operational Support section but largely on his/her own initiative, the incumbent will ensure perform duties such as the following:
- Provide aggregated reporting on capability definition and delivery by programmes and projects to enable improved oversight and optimized strategic decision-making through a data driven approach.
- Support NCIA Business and Functional Areas teams contributing to any stage of the development process of the capability programmes, by providing CFC portfolio level information
- Populate the data model for dashboards and reporting artifacts to support the Agency´s strategic information needs.
- Coordinate with Functional and Business Areas, the relevant aspects related to CFCDGM and the Agency´s common funded capabilities Portfolio
- Support the CFC demand forecast.
- Deputize for higher grade staff, if required;
- Perform other duties as may be required.
Requirements
Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
- The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- A minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline, such as, Business Management, Scientific or Engineering and 3 years post related experience; Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency, that is, at least 10 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post;
- Professional certificates: Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2 (or equivalent), Management of Successful Programmes (MSP) (or equivalent);
- At least 3 years working in a programme or portfolio office;
- Demonstrated experience in roles requiring the ability to plan, organize, coordinate and complete work assignments in a timely manner as well as work successfully with diverse stakeholders.
- Desirable:
- Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements;
- Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO and ACT.
