Duties and Role:
- Support the NATO Software Factory team in daily activities applying DevSecOps best practices.
- Interact with customers and stakeholders to help during onboarding and planning, development, test and deployment activities.
- Help to improve the platform by introducing features to increase security, scalability and stability.
- Support to and maintenance of the trusted container process and associated toolchain
Requirements
- The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- Continuous Planning: Agile planning and delivery; SCRUM; JIRA
- Continuous integration and delivery: Git; Infrastructure as Code such as ARM, Terraform or Ansible;
- Designing and implementing build/deploy pipelines using services such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps YAML pipelines or Jenkins
- Cloud PaaS services such as App Services, Functions, MySQL & PostgreSQL
- Application security/code quality testing tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx or OWASP Dependency Check
- Shift left/right testing using test automation tools such Junit/NUnit, Selenium, Protractor, Cucumber
- Test Management Tools such as Azure DevOps advanced test or Test Management for Jira
- Continuous Operations: Telemetry/Monitoring solutions such as Application Insights, Azure Monitor, Grafana or Prometheus; Compliancy solutions such as Azure Policy; Modern Service Management
- Containerization: Kubernetes; Managed Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including day 1 and
- day 2 operations; Helm; Container Registry; Container vulnerability scanning tools such as Clair and Anchore
