Buyer Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of ASEAN buyers by identifying and engaging with buyers, expanding the buyers database, and fostering market growth in ASEAN countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Buyer Development: Identify and engage key buyer accounts in ASEAN market to join various industries activities.
  • Market Expansion: Develop and execute action plans to expand ASEAN buyers base and market presence, including identifying new target markets, creating tailored campaigns and services, and establishing strategic alliances.
  • Buyers Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective buyers, understanding their needs and providing tailored services to drive satisfaction and retention
  • Market Research and Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Maintain communication logs and customer profiles in the CRM, provide insights and recommendations,
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing and promotions, event invitations and customer support, to align business objectives and optimize customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to management to track progress against goals and identify areas for optimization.
  • 8 years+ of experience in sales, procurement or business development.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales or partnership management.
  • Extensive network and established relationships with key accounts in various industries (Beauty, Jewellery, New Energy, Fashion or MICE)
  • Experience in selling products or services or negotiating partnerships or RFP with enterprise clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
  • Highly motivated and result oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin.
