How you will contribute to LifeNet Health’s success:
As a Buyer II you will be responsible for negotiating and purchasing supplies, equipment, and services from suppliers. Maintains inventory targets and manages supply plans against those targets, including maintenance of purchasing data/parameters in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Ensure suppliers meet quality, delivery, and cost targets. Use industry-standard Supply Planning methods and SAP Enterprise Resource Planning system to drive for consistent materials and production execution. Have daily contact with suppliers to support vital goals within the company.
What you’ll do:

Responsible for sourcing and negotiating indirect projects and services to deliver cost-effective and quality outcomes to address our business needs. Extrapolates the business/operational requirements from internal parties and interprets into a value solution that fulfills these requirements with minimal oversight. Confers with suppliers to obtain product or service information, pricing, availability, and delivery schedule.
- Provides Direct supply planning support, including routine exception management within SAP when delegated. Partners with suppliers to ensure receipt of quality materials. Provides forecast updates to suppliers, as necessary.
- Seeks opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost savings/avoidance and making appropriate system and process changes as necessary to execute.
- Performs indirect and direct systems administration, including pricing and user-access master data setup and trouble-shooting support for Ariba and SAP MRP systems.
- Identifies, plans, and coordinates with IS and other key stakeholders to implement improvements to Procurement SAP MRP to meet supply chain benchmark performance.
- Resolves non-conforming material issues, together with Quality, Operations and Suppliers, to identify corrective and preventive actions required.
What you’ll bring (Minimum Requirements):
- Associate Degree
- 3 years’ previous procurement/sourcing/supply chain experience
- 2 years’ experience in the use of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related discipline
- CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) Certification from ISM (Institute of Supply Management) or APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society)

Salary: $24.64 to $32.85 / hourly
*The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location and the candidate’s qualifications and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $24.64 hourly (entry- level qualifications) to $32.85 hourly (experienced in this role). *

This position is eligible for an annual bonus once eligibility criteria are met.
