Business Systems Integrator - Poka Team

Join our dynamic team as a Business Systems Integrator and embark on an exciting journey of creating cutting-edge business integration solutions for Poka. In this role, you will collaborate with talented peers to develop and maintain business data flows, ensuring seamless integration with external systems.

As a Business Systems Integrator, you will have the opportunity to explore and use a wide range of tools and technologies, including Zapier, PowerBI, AWS Lambdas to connect multiple APIs used by Poka. Your expertise and curiosity will be key as you strive to develop the most efficient integration solutions, working with external systems such as Microsoft Azure/EntraID, Google Workspace, JAMF, Jira, ADP, SalesForce and many more.

This role also encompasses an Identity Management aspect to it. You will have the opportunity to integrate miscellaneous authentication protocols and technologies, notably SAML and OAuth, as implemented by Microsoft, Google and Amazon products.

What you’ll be in charge of:

  • Be the point of contact for all questions related to integrations with Poka's business suppliers for our internal teams.
  • Provide outstanding collaboration and interactions with our non-technical employees, supporting them in the design of integration solutions.
  • Design and develop innovative system integration examples.
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation and effectively communicate integration examples to stakeholders.
  • Collaborating on the implementation of automated processes that streamline operations throughout the entire company.
  • Actively participating in the evolution of technologies used, ensuring we stay at the forefront of innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on various integration and migration projects, where your expertise will be highly valued.

Experience and qualifications

  • College degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Information Technology role.
  • Ability to work in English in collaboration with our Canadian team
  • Availability to work outside typical working hours from time to time
  • Knowledge of integration platforms (Zapier, PowerAutomate, IFTT, etc.)
  • Knowledge in software interface development (Java, Python, etc.)
  • Knowledge of JSON, HTTPS calls/methods, RESTful API
  • Knowledge of network security/cloud-Saas application
  • Knowledge of plant automation tools and environment (an asset)
