Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Business System Analyst who will play a key role in gathering and analyzing business requirements, designing workflows, and ensuring that solutions align with development and organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into system requirements, create architecture designs, document workflows, and verify that all specifications are met by the development team. You will also be responsible for creating and executing positive test cases to validate system functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to collect, analyze, and document detailed business and system requirements.
- Workflow & Architecture Design: Design system workflows and architecture that align with business needs and ensure they are implementable by the development team.
- Ensure Requirement Alignment: Work closely with the development team to ensure all gathered requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications and system solutions.
- Documentation: Create clear and comprehensive documentation for system designs, workflows, and requirements, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned.
- Positive Test Cases: Design and execute positive test cases to verify that the system functions according to the specified requirements and meets stakeholder expectations.
- Communication: Serve as the bridge between the business and technical teams, ensuring smooth and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze system performance and recommend enhancements to improve functionality and align with business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business System Analyst with a focus on requirements gathering, workflow design, and system architecture.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in creating and executing test cases.
- Proficiency in documentation and process design tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
