JOB SUMMARY:
The Business Systems Analyst role is results-oriented, reporting to the Finance Director and acting as the key liaison between Finance and Corporate Support Departments to enhance operational success and foster innovation. Responsibilities include the development and customization of applications and solutions utilizing the Office 365 platform.
DUTIES:
• Design, develop, and implement custom solutions and applications that integrate with the Office 365 suite of tools, such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, PowerApps, and Power Automate.
• Create and maintain existing reports/dashboards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and end-users to understand requirements and translate them into Power Platform solutions.
• Customize and extend existing Office 365 applications to meet specific business requirements, including creating custom workflows, forms, and integration points.
• Assist in the documentation of technical specifications, test plans, and user guides.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize Power Platform applications.
• Coordinate the implementation of Finance Best Practices for operational and corporate reporting, training, and analysis.
• Work closely with cross-functional leaders for input and project implementation.
• Keep up to date with the latest Office 365 updates, features, and best practices to ensure solutions are built using the latest technologies and standards.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for change.
• Travel may be required (approximately 10%) for certain projects and corporate initiative implementations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
WORK EXPERIENCE:
• 3+ years of experience in Computer Science, Information Technology,
• 3+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent work experience.
• Previous project experience in low-code application development

• Eagerness to learn and stay current with emerging technologies.
• Strong problem-solving, process improvement, and strategic thinking skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to set goals, objectives, and tasks to efficiently meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required).
• Strong data analytics skills (database and data visualization software experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts and database technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present in front of groups and different levels of management.
• Willingness to master application development using PowerApps.
• Willingness to master workflow development using Power Automate.
