We are seeking a highly experienced business process manager with a strong finance/accounting background and extensive ERP functional expertise. In this role, you will lead initiatives to design, test and implement processes and reporting requirements in our SAP S/4HANA environment. You will work with business stakeholders in the finance and accounting groups to gather requirements and work with our IT team to implement those requirements. This role will play an important part in our finance and accounting organization.
Responsibilities:
- In this role you will need to understand the key processes around revenue, inventory and costing, accounts payable, treasury and consolidation and reporting among others. In understanding these processes, you will work with the relevant business owners.
- Once you have gathered the understanding of the above processes, you will work with the business owners to identify gaps and areas for improvement by way of automation and streamlining processes.
- Once these gaps and areas for improvement are identified and prioritized, you will work with our IT team to design solutions, test and implement those solutions.
- You will also work with our IT team to develop and provide training to our business owners on new or updated processes and reporting relating to SAP.
- You will be the key point of contact for business owners to escalate process issues or reporting requirements relating to SAP and other financial systems.
- You will also be responsible for driving the implementation of solutions for the above-mentioned issues and reporting requirements.
- Participate in strategic business planning with Finance and IT teams to develop enhancement options addressing specific functional needs or issues.
- Lead user acceptance testing when applicable.
- Understand and document inter-dependences of tasks; work across teams and exert influence.
- Ensure adherence to best practices for system security and data integrity.
- Ability to work off business hours and weekends as needed in a demanding environment
- Bachelor or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar capacity in an SAP S/4HANA environment.
- In-depth understanding of financial business processes, including GL, AR AP, tax, treasury, consolidation, finance planning and budgeting.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and stakeholder expectation management.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to convey information clearly and tailor messages to diverse audiences to achieve desired outcomes.
- Profound ability to solve complex problems and drive projects to completion.
- Advanced knowledge and utilization of Microsoft Project tools
- Proven ability to influence without direct reporting relationships
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management

For California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $124,330 - $186,670. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
