We’re looking for a People and Culture Business Partner (sometimes called a "generalist") to help build and sustain an incredible workplace where our Team Members feel supported, inspired, and empowered to do their best work. You’ll be at the heart of our People and Culture team, handling both the day-to-day essentials and big-picture initiatives that make Angel Studios a great place to work. Keep us legally savvy without the snooze – Stay on top of employment laws and compliance so we operate with excellence while keeping things engaging and people-focused. Juggle all things people-related – Manage employment records, benefits, payroll changes, and HR logistics to keep everything running like a well-oiled machine.   • Required education and experience
  • At least four years of human resource experience is required.
  • At least one year of full-cycle recruiting experience is required.
  • Previous experience with HRIS and ATS systems is required.

  • At Angel Studios, we believe in creating an environment where people can do their best work—both comfortably and effectively. Here’s what to expect in this role:
  • Work Environment: Our main office is a comfortable, air-conditioned space designed for collaboration. While every Team Member has their own desk, the open-office layout means things can get fast-paced and occasionally noisy—but that’s just the sound of a thriving team!
  • This role is an on-site, in-person position at our open-office space, where collaboration and creativity thrive! Here’s what to expect:
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods (because great HR happens at desks, in meetings, and sometimes on the move).
  • Ability to lift 15-20 pounds occasionally (think office supplies, event materials, or the occasional stack of People & Culture paperwork). Some of our facilities include multiple stairways
  • Be comfortable spending long periods in front of a computer screen—spreadsheets, emails, and HR systems are part of the magic!
  • Travel: Not typically required, other than local errands/meetings that may occur.
  • Core business hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, but as a People & Culture pro, you know that sometimes support is needed outside of traditional hours (we see you, last-minute onboarding and unexpected team needs!).
  • If you’re adaptable, ready to roll up your sleeves, and love being part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment, this is the place for you!
  • Work environment - When in the main office, expect a comfortable, air-conditioned work environment. Team members are issued their own desks, but the office is an open, shared space and can be fast-paced and occasionally noisy.

    Physical demands - Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time. Must be able to carry 20 lbs. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.

    Position type and expected hours of work - Regular full-time, 40 hours per week.

    Travel required - Travel is not generally required for this position

    Work authorization - Must be authorized to work in the United States.
