The Role
As the Business Manager, you'll drive operational efficiency, strategic planning, and global business performance for VANTAGE. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, you'll manage day-to-day operations, optimize processes, and align initiatives with company goals.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Oversee financial reporting, resource allocation, and project management.
- Strategic Planning: Shape short- and long-term strategies with senior leadership.
- Financial Oversight: Manage cash flow, debt management, and referrals between business and partners.
- Client Management: Support client-facing teams in growing and maintaining key accounts.
- Process Improvement: Continuously enhance business operations and technology adoption.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of seven, fostering performance and development.
- Vendor/Stakeholder Management: Oversee relationships to ensure cost efficiency and service quality.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and corporate governance.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in business management or operations, ideally within a professional services or risk management setting.
- Demonstrated success in operational leadership and financial oversight.
- Experience in a professional services environment is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for making data-driven decisions.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, adept at fostering relationships at all organisational levels.
- Proficient leadership and team management skills, including experience in guiding cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Highly skilled in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
