This role is a full-time, in-office position working with Institutional Property Advisors, a division of Marcus & Millichap in the Houston office. This candidate will manage and coordinate with the Houston back office and serve as the point of contact for other business functions such as Marketing, Client Events, MMCC, Finance, Regional Management, Title, etc. The individual will evaluate and improve processes and establish best practices to sustain a top producing multifamily investment business. The ideal candidate will have superb written, organizational and communication skills, give 100% commitment to helping create a dynamic team environment, have strong attention to detail, be a self-motivator/proactive, problem solver and a quick learner.
Responsibilities:
- Manage team members’ pipelines as they work on business development, collaborating with multiple back-office staff throughout the division to ensure proper recording and compliance.
- Commercial Real Estate Transaction Management for the team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, execution, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Execution of senior team leader initiatives and business planning.
- Host & prep stakeholder meetings and tours, etc.
- Executes contracts, market data analysis, and property presentations for external stakeholders.
- Manages day-to-day team operations; such as but not limited to maintains budgets and expenses, implement process corrections to optimize efficiency, streamline workflow and enhance overall operational effectiveness.
- Manage marketing strategies for each deal and the production of marketing materials.
- Create an agenda and conduct pipeline meetings for the team.
- Manage timeline with back-office team – Proposal/Investment book creation, underwriting/financial model updates, sale and rent comps, etc.
- Provides a ‘concierge level’ of service to Agents and clients.
- Coordinating with team members to foster exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities.
- Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the transaction process.
- Directs team events throughout the year (planning and execution of).
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
- Required Previous Commercial Real Estate Experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or related field.
- Understanding of & commitment to serving internal and external clients.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and other relevant software and a familiarity with spreadsheet formulas.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates. Capability of effective planning and priority setting.
- Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents.
