As the Business Operations Co-op, you will work at the intersection of finance and business operations for Via Separations, a climate tech company decarbonizing the industrial sector. You will engage in a variety of business operations functions including but not limited to: administrative finance, facilities and office management, contracts, and fundraising. This is a great opportunity for students who would like to gain exposure to the many facets of business operations, and deepen their understanding of what is required to run a small business.
Core Responsibilities:
- Finance & accounts payable coverage, including billing & bookkeeping, purchase order upkeep, grant reimbursement tracking, and employee timesheet review.
- Office management duties including monitoring facilities help desk tickets, receiving deliveries, supply ordering, and organizational systems support.
- Fundraising support, including presentation materials & documents for investors and Via's Board of Directors, quarterly investor updates, fundraise document management, NDA and contract management, and marketing support as needed.
- Additional business operations support as needed.
The ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of the following:
- Coursework in Business Management, Finance, Marketing & Communications, or related field.
- Previous co-op, internship or office work experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work in office on a full-time basis from January - June 2025.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with others, and managing long-term projects along with day-to-day duties.
- A desire to be independent and curious about learning business processes.
- A clear interest in sustainability.
- US work authorization is required for this role.
