What a Business Operations Analyst does at Visa:
This role in Korea will be responsible for providing operational assistance to VCA Consultant and Data Scientists such as project admin, helping to address operational challenges with relevant stakeholders. This role also provides operation and business planning support, helping VCA leaders to set day to day operational objectives for team.
Responsibilities
· Support VCA Leaders in addressing new operation issues and preparation of biz planning such as pipeline management, Monthly Business Review and Annual Operation Plan
· Support VCA members in project admin including completing contracts with clients and vendors using given templates, following admin procedures to comply with internal guideline, updating and managing project pipelines into systems etc.
· Coordinate with Sourcing and Controller team to arrange various activities with vendors (i.e. onboarding, payment to vendors)
· Support team onboarding admin including requesting access to multiple internal systems, Shared Drive etc.
· Support team with arranging a regular client event (webinar)
· Support organizing and managing folders and files in internal archive system
· Support other team’s tasks on ad-hoc basis (e.g., creating simple charts, internal reports)

This role will provide a very important support to the VCA team so that the team can invest undivided attention to the project delivery. This role will be supporting the team on the management of necessary administrative steps required by internal and external stakeholders for each project, so that the projects can be successfully commenced in a timely manner and be managed well until the final delivery.
Also, by working closely with VCA cluster lead, this role will provide extra support to VCA leaders in operation and business planning via frequent communication and interaction with outside of VCA (i.e. Marketing, AE, Finance and legal) to help address all operation issues including business planning, such as MBR and AOP.
With the support by this role, the team’s efficiency in project management as well as overall operation will significantly improve, allowing the team to focus more on creating value for both Visa and the clients for further growth and achieve the goals for the year.
Projects you will be a part of:
This role will be required to have a general understanding of the scope and characteristics of each client engagement as well as overall operation of VCA to provide the most optimal administrative and operation support. In this regard, this role will be able to develop a bird’s-eye view on how the payment industry is moving, what topics the card companies are interested in, how the VCA team is managed, and where lies the opportunities for further growth for Visa and the clients. Most importantly, this role would play a critical role in preparation of regular biz update and biz planning through close coordination among all internal stakeholders.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
