Business Operation Manager

Since launching in Tel Aviv in 2018, Wolt has rapidly expanded across Israel, now operating in over 200 locations. To support this growth, we're reimagining how we approach courier growth as well as delivery growth. We're looking for someone who can drive initiatives on the ground—forming partnerships, tackling barriers, and unlocking new avenues to attract couriers.

This role will report to the Regional Head of courier supply  and will be focused on executing impactful projects to grow our courier base, working cross-functionally to ensure we meet growth demands.
 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and Execute Growth Initiatives: Identify, design, and implement strategies to grow our pool of potential couriers through partnerships and innovative solutions.

  • Foster Strategic Partnerships: Create collaborations with key communities such as students, young professionals, or niche groups to ensure a steady stream of new couriers.

  • Remove Operational Barriers: Address challenges in courier recruitment, such as affordable vehicle access by negotiating and establishing partnerships, or any other kind of initiative to boost new leads and improve conversion rate.

  • Collaborate with Marketing Teams: Work with internal marketing to utilize existing tools like advertising and digital campaigns for targeted courier recruitment.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze performance metrics and market data to identify opportunities for growth and refine strategies.

  • Lead Cross-Functional Projects: Manage projects that involve multiple stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with company goals.

  • Innovate to Stay Ahead: Continuously bring fresh ideas and test creative approaches to find the most effective solutions.

  • Own courier acquisition budget: Manage and optimize our courier acquisition budget to maximize impact, ensure efficiency, and meet recruitment goals

  • Experience: Minimum 4 years in business operations, growth roles, or similar positions. Proven ability to execute cross-functional initiatives that deliver results.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong skills in identifying challenges, proposing creative solutions, and executing them effectively.

  • Strategic Thinking: A track record of building partnerships and working with external stakeholders to achieve growth objectives.

  • Analytical Mindset: Experience using data to guide decisions and measure the success of initiatives.

  • Communication Skills: Fluent in English and Hebrew with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
