📄 JOB DESCRIPTION
- As part of the Travel Business Unit and reporting to the International Business Unit Director, you will be responsible for managing and developing the flash sales market in Spain, leading the commercial strategy, and directly managing the commercial and production teams to ensure the achievement of the business objectives in terms of revenue growth and margin.
- In addition to managing the teams, you will play an active role in the commercial activities in terms of scouting and partner acquisition.
🎯 TASKS
- Plan the acquisition of new partners to expand the BU portfolio, closing negotiations across the local territory.
- Identify potential partners and handle prospecting.
- Manage negotiations and follow up on deals closed with various partners.
- Manage and define, together with your teams, the flash sales and catalog planning.
- Play an active role in selecting offers to publish, assessing the quality of the offer and the conditions agreed upon with the partner.
- Monitor market developments, competition, and the achievement of global sales objectives.
- Supervise the production of campaigns, ensuring that planned sales are realized, and organize and staff the team to meet the objectives.
- Control the quality of published offers and push production capacity to ensure the number of publications budgeted are met.
- Manage the commercial and production teams, motivating them from both an operational and human resources perspective.
👉 MUST HAVE skills
- You have at least 8 years of overall experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role in the commercial field and in the tourism sector.
- You demonstrate exemplary professional behavior, with the ability to engage and unite your teams around common goals.
- You possess strong knowledge of the sector and/or a passion for its development.
- You have excellent communication skills, as well as a strong aptitude for negotiation.
- You have a good understanding of the challenges of the tourism sector in the Spanish market and know how to leverage them to achieve your goals.
- You know how to manage the budget control of an entity (KPI, performance analysis, etc.).
- You are proficient in IT tools (mainly Excel) and are able to quickly adapt to new tools and processes.
