Our business management team in Los Angeles helps protect assets and preserve value by providing a concierge approach to service tailored to our clients' unique needs. Our team assists with supervision and management of day-to-day activities while working with clients to formulate goals, develop strategies and long-range planning. We work with other advisors, including bankers, lawyers, investment advisors, estate planning, and insurance professionals to help our clients achieve their current and long-term goals.
This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our West Los Angeles, Long Beach, Pasadena or Glendale office. For the first 4-6 months, we expect at least 3 days in the office to learn, get trained, and get acquainted with the team. After 6 months, we expect 2-3 days in the office.
As a Manager in our Business Management practice, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Build strong relationships with new and existing clients, proactively handling their inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high level of client satisfaction
- Understand client’s business objectives and provide tailored solutions
- Serve as a trusted advisor for clients in dealings with other professionals, such as attorneys, agents, and financial institutions.
- Liaise with tax team for a seamless client experience
- Financial reporting, reconciliation of investment statements, and preparation of other analytical reports
- Vendor management, bill payment reconciliation
- Provide guidance on business operations, including entity structuring, financial reporting, strategic planning
- Assist clients in developing estate plans to protect assets
- Review and negotiate contracts as well as personal/business financial statements and present to clients
- Special projects and other requests as needed
- Manage and develop associates and new hires in understanding client related processes and accounting matters
- Provide training for associates and new hires and ensure adherence to firm policies
- Identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce risk
To be successful, these are the skills and experience you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required
- Active CPA license required
- 8+ years of accounting experience required
- 2+ years of managerial experience required
- 4+ years of experience in business management field for corporate, family office/high net worth, and entertainment clients preferred
- Financial statement reporting experience required
- Experience with AgilLink is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, effective communication, and ability to work in a team environment
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to effectively address inquiries, resolve issues, and build positive relationships with clients and team members
- Effective time management skills with proven ability to consistently meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects while maintaining clear communication
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability
- Ability to lead new team members
- Availability for overtime as needed

This salary range is specific to the state(s) listed and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill set and education; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the range for this position is $130,000-150,000.
