Role Overview

Wolt is a Finnish technology company, originally recognized for our food delivery platform. Over the past year, we have expanded into several new verticals, including retail, Wolt Drive, and OTC deliveries, with more exciting developments on the horizon.

As Wolt continues to grow in Israel, we are broadening our reach into new cities and diversifying our customer base. Our mission is to extend the benefits of our disruptive, ultra-fast delivery platform to as many people, merchants, and couriers as possible across the country.

In the role of Business Lead for the Arab Community, you will be responsible for developing and executing our business strategy in Arab cities and towns. "Your focus will be on ensuring our services are localized and implemented efficiently in these areas."

. You will collaborate closely with our Sales and Account Management teams, Customer Support, Product, Operations, and Marketing to ensure successful city launches. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in refining our product-market fit, contributing to Wolt's success in Arab communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy for Wolt in Arab towns and cities.

  • Make informed business decisions by leveraging data to support strategic initiatives.

  • Lead the sales process for strategic partners in the restaurant and retail markets within Arab cities and towns, including successfully signing and onboarding key partners.

  • Collaborate with Wolt leadership and cross-functional teams to provide insights and execute on matters related to product, marketing, courier operations, and customer support to create a compelling market proposition.

  • Work closely with our restaurant and retail business teams to identify and develop opportunities for expanding and managing partnerships.

 

  • At least 5 years of successful experience in consumer goods sales or business development, with a significant advantage for those with experience in selling to major restaurants and/or retailers.

  • Proven ability to establish and secure partnerships with companies of various sizes, from C-level executives to small business owners.

  • "Strong commercial and strategic expertise, with the capability to strategize and build businesses from the ground up. You can quickly understand different business models and identify opportunities and challenges.

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with a passion for process improvement.

  • Experience in working with internal teams to bring complex, long-term deals to fruition.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, analyze sales metrics and pricing models, and produce relevant KPIs.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Experience in directly or indirectly managing teams.

  • Fluency in Arabic, Hebrew, and English.
