Overview:
As a Business Intelligence Senior Analyst, you will utilize your expertise in SQL and data testing to deliver precise, actionable insights. Working closely with stakeholders, you'll focus on testing code for specific business scenarios, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of BI outputs. Experience with Tableau is a plus, but the primary focus is on data analysis, testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Insights: Perform advanced data analysis using SQL, providing actionable insights that align with business needs.
Scenario-Based Code Testing: Collaborate with internal teams to understand specific business use cases and perform detailed data testing for different scenarios, ensuring accurate outputs.
BI Reporting: Develop interactive, visually compelling reports and dashboards using Tableau, with a focus on delivering high-value insights to the business. Experience with other BI tools like Power BI or Qlik Sense is a plus.
Data Quality & Testing: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data by conducting thorough data testing and validation across different business scenarios.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and analysts, to comprehend use cases and ensure efficient data flow and analysis.
Support Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of BI processes by identifying areas for improvement and driving data testing best practices.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, with a focus on SQL and data testing.
Strong understanding of BI architecture and data testing methodologies.
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Experience with Tableau for dashboarding and reporting. Power BI or Qlik Sense experience is a bonus.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business scenarios and translate them into technical solutions.
Strong analytical mindset with a high attention to detail and data accuracy.
