What You'll Do

Our Group Controlling & Finance Department is at the heart of our strategic decision-making process. We analyse financial data to provide strategic insights and support decision-making as well as develop and implement financial strategies to optimize our resources. Our team is not just about crunching numbers; we're about shaping the future of SkyCell AG. We work closely with senior leadership to drive growth, profitability, and sustainability.

In this role you’ll also:

• Develop a reporting infrastructure which should serve as a affirm-wide analytics cockpit to provide actionable business insights
• Lead and support projects to implement and optimize business intelligence tools, with a focus on SAP Analytics Cloud (fed through SAP S/4 HANA) and Power BI
• Design reports and analyses in order to identify trends in our financial and operational data
• Act as a sparring partner to Finance, CFO, and senior leadership, while offering ad hoc data insights across departments.
• Maintain the Business Intelligence tool and EPM
• Act as sparring Partner for the Finance Team, CFO, Head of Finance and the Management team while offering ad hoc data insights across departments
• Co-develop future data streams and explore automation opportunities in reporting and analytics

Requirements

What You'll Bring

We welcome applicants from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, whether technical (IT) or business-oriented, provided you have a strong foundation in data science or analytics.

For Recent Graduates:

• Strong academic background in data science, demonstrated through projects, internships, or a personal GitHub repository showcasing skills in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, Dash) or R (dplyr, ggplot2, Shiny).
• Hands-on experience with data analysis and visualization tools through coursework, internships, or personal projects.

For Experienced Professionals:

• Practical experience in business intelligence, within in SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or related tools.
• Experience in report generation from SAP S/4HANA data, building operating data workflows
• Expertise in data modelling, data mining, and dashboard creation.
• IT Project Management and implementation experience is a plus
• Ability to convert complex data into clear, concise reports and presentations
• Strong interest in data, analytics, and their role in business contexts. Ability to manage several tasks in detail and accuracy, without loosing the overview
• Result-oriented with a focus on long-term goals and career growth
• Fluent in English and German
