The Role 

Green Thumb Industries is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst, focusing on evolving our use of data to deliver improved insights across the company. The candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders across our Finance, Retail, Revenue, and CPG teams to deliver on projects that impact their operations. This candidate will collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure that data is delivered accurately and timely to our stakeholders. While delivering analytic solutions through dashboards and self-service capabilities that drive forward capabilities, this candidate will continuously monitor and influence the best way to leverage industry trends for Green Thumb Industries. 

This position is hybrid and requires you to be in office 1 day per week. 

Responsibilities 

  • Deliver insights to stakeholders through analysis, dashboards, and support of self-service analytical tools 
  • Synthesize data into consumable reports and insights 
  • Foster an environment of self-service analytics by providing domain and tool expertise 
  • Continuously build business acumen of Green Thumb Industries and the Cannabis industry 
  • Develop curated data sets to advance our reporting and analytics infrastructure 
  • Use data visualization to present and summarize findings in a meaningful way 
  • Maintain data integrity and governance, ensuring dashboards and insights are accurate and comply with relevant data regulations 

Qualifications  

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, data science, or other related fields 
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, or similar visualization tools 
  • Experience with analytic tools and languages such as SQL, R, Python, or DBT 
  • Experience writing and optimizing complex SQL statements in a cloud data warehouse environment such as Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or Redshift 
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work with changing business data 
  • A collaborative attitude and the ability to establish partnerships and build consensus 
  • Critical thinking and inquisitiveness coupled with a desire to continuously learn new skills 
  • The ability to have fun at work and foster team connectedness 

Additional Requirements 

  • Must pass any and all required background checks  
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry  
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
