Downtown Music Publishing is seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development, Vice President. The individual should have a strong and diverse existing network which they’ll be able to leverage immediately. The primary responsibility will be identifying, connecting with, and converting high-value rightsholders (creators, labels, publishers, etc.) and their representatives into Downtown Music Publishing clients. This role will also be responsible for representing Downtown across various industry events within the community in order to establish the brand’s position and authority within the market.
Downtown provides base salary ranges for all positions located in the United States at the time of posting. The hiring range for this position is $130,000-$150,000 annually. As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon various factors including, but not limited to, work experience, geographic location and relevant skills. This range does not include any other variable compensation components.
