Job Description:
The Business Development Specialist will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and cultivating business opportunities, strengthening relationships with strategic partners, and driving overall business growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator, and adept at market analysis, financial forecasting, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish, manage, and nurture relationships with strategic partners to identify and evaluate potential business opportunities.
- Prepare and develop analytical reports and financial forecasts, including revenue and cost projections, break-even analyses, and data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and financial planning.
- Conduct market research to gather insights and support decision-making related to market entry, competitive positioning, and new opportunities.
- Perform market and competitor analyses to identify growth opportunities and develop effective business strategies.
- Plan and execute market entry strategies, including building and developing relationships with potential clients.
- Manage and track business projects from initiation to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure goals are met.
- Utilize tools such as Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of financial and budgeting concepts to effectively analyze income, costs, and profitability metrics.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in business development, with a strong preference for candidates with industry experience in finance and commerce.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (advanced degrees preferred).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships.
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability in response to changing business needs.
- Experience with market research, financial forecasting, and project management.
