The Business Development Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, driving sales growth for Delta's comprehensive telecom solutions, cultivating strategic partnerships, and expanding market presence across the CEE region. This role requires expertise in telecom infrastructure and data center technologies, strong partner management skills, and a deep understanding of the CEE market landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Management (CEE):
- Develop and implement regional strategies to drive Delta's growth in the CEE telecom market.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the CEE region, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
- Adapt global strategies to fit local market needs and regulatory environments across CEE countries.
- Monitor and report on regional market trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities.
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with telecom operators, infrastructure providers, and data center operators in the CEE region.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing key accounts across both telecom infrastructure and data center segments.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals, highlighting Delta's integrated solutions for the telecom industry in CEE.
Partner Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic partners to enhance Delta's market reach and solution offerings in the CEE region.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, system integrators, and technology allies across CEE countries.
- Create and implement partner programs tailored to the CEE market to drive mutual growth and success.
Product and Market Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and customer needs specific to the CEE telecom infrastructure and data center markets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions that meet customer and partner requirements in the CEE region.
- Provide feedback to product management teams to influence product development for CEE market needs.
Performance and Representation:
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals for the CEE region.
- Represent Delta Electronics at industry events, trade shows, and partner conferences related to telecom and data center technologies in CEE countries.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or partner management within the telecommunications industry, with at least 5 years of experience in the CEE region.
- Strong technical knowledge of telecom infrastructure, data center technologies, and industry partner ecosystems.
- Proven track record of successfully closing complex, high-value deals and managing strategic partnerships in the B2B telecom space within CEE.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives in telecom companies and partner organizations across diverse CEE markets.
- Fluency in English and at least one other CEE language; additional CEE languages are a strong advantage.
- Deep understanding of the cultural, economic, and regulatory environments in CEE countries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address diverse telecom challenges and partnership opportunities in the region.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, partner management tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the CEE region (up to 60%).
